Healthy Living - it is a term that we hear all around, right? In magazine cover stories, Instagram posts, and health websites. But now tell the truth... how many of us really stand up and reflect on the meaning of Healthy Living as far as we are concerned?


I used to believe that it is all about working out in the gym, eating salads, and not taking sweets. However, one day I realised that Healthy Living Starts with You not with a diet plan, not with a fitness app but with your day in day out decisions.


And therefore, when you are the person who is balancing between work, family as well as a thousand small things (as I am!), then this is the post you do not want to miss. I have not come to give you some so-called perfect tips. I am here to tell you about some of the real, achievable habits, which have made me feel healthier and calmer and happier, even on the busiest days.

☀️ 2. My Wake-Up Call - When I Knew I Was in Need of ChangeA few years ago, I used to be the description of a busy but tired person. Deadlines, meetings, endless scrolling, taking breaks and going to bed at the end of the night. I believed that I was managing life and then one day, I could not even climb up a flight of stairs without gasping. That moment hit me hard.

That is when I began to reconsider all that. I asked myself:Unless I start taking care of my body today, how long could I continue working like this?


And it is there that my quest to Healthy Living really started.


🌅 3. Part 1. Tip 20: Count on Morning Rituals.


My day would begin by reading the emails. Big mistake! 😬


I now start with five conscious minutes, a stretch, a glass of warm water and several deep breaths by my balcony window. It is little, but it predetermines the entire day.


You do not have to get up at 5 AM or spend an hour meditating. Just do anything simple that will make you feel alive. Perhaps it is watering your plants, perhaps it is writing in your journal, perhaps it is playing your favourite song when you are brushing your teeth.


Since when you feel good in the morning, your day is going to be good.


🥗 4. Tip #2: Eat Real, Not Perfect

Talking about food, my most favoured (and most disorienting) subject!

I was long pursuing that ideal, eating. Smoothies, salads, counting calories... and afterward, the feeling of guilt each time I ate biryani on a Friday night 🍛. However, it was not long before I discovered that Healthy Living Starts with You - and your relationship with food must be friendly and not disciplined.


Now I follow a simple rule:

Consume natural foods - fruits, vegetables, grains, and proteins.

Nothing lasts forever and appears in a shiny packet should be avoided.And, by your side, have no regrets about your sweets.Balance and not perfection is what I have discovered is the true formula of a healthy life.


🏃‍♂️ 5. Tip #3: Move a Little, Every Day


There is no need of exercising, you just need to move.

I began to walk even when using the phone, use the stairs and perform some mild stretches when watching TV. And you know what? It worked. My vitality increased, my spirit cheered up, and my jeans became a bit looser 😉


When you are at the desk working all day, remind yourself to move every hour. Two-minutes stretching are helpful. Since in the case of Healthy Living, the forerunners of change are small moves.



😴 6. Tip #4: Rest Is Not Laziness


I would put tiredness as a badge of honour. Excuse of being so busy became my favourite. But taking one’s ease is not a luxury, it is gasoline.

The sleep is the reset-button of the body. You cannot rely on it not to break down everything else like your mood, your focus and your health. I began falling asleep 30 minutes earlier and stopped looking at my phone in bed (believe me, that blue light is a killer of sleep!).One thing only remember to-day, which is thisResting well begins Healthy Living.


💧 7. The Secret We Ignore: Tip #5: Hydration.


It took me a while to realise the power of water until I started following it.When I drank enough on the days I was much lighter, fresher and more focused. Here’s a trick that helped me:Have at hand a colourful bottle (mine is bright blue 💙).Take a glass of water prior to every meal.And substitute one sweetened beverage per day with water.It is so easy, yet it can make the difference in the way your body feels.


🧘‍♀️ 8. Text: A Healthy Body Is a Healthy Mind.


Mental health is a colossal component of Healthy Living, of which I had neglected to pay due attention.


No salads or exercises were going to make me feel good when my mind was cluttered. I began to make a note of my concerns, discuss them with my friends, and take social media breaks. 💬 9. Tip #7: Keep It Real — Not Rigid


The perfection is the opposite of progress.

You will miss your walk or eat pizza, or even forget to meditate and that is alright. Being healthy does not mean being perfect. It has to do with being present to you even when minor.I was able to know that Healthy Living Starts with You your speed, your decisions, your benevolence towards yourself.

Looking back, I can see that I did not transform my life in a day.

I simply made one simple decision each day, drink more water, walk a little, go to sleep early and smile more.And those little strides led to some sum of money.
